Using the course side of a box grater, grate the broccoli and set aside.
In a large fry pan over medium heat sweat off garlic and anchovies for 3-4 minutes, add broccoli. Sweat off for a further 4-5 minutes. Add stock and simmer until broccoli is soft to touch and stock is almost completely reduced. Season the broccoli mix with salt and freshly cracked black pepper, careful not to over season as you will also get salt from the pasta when you add it to the mix.
Meanwhile cook pasta to packet instructions.
Toss the pasta through broccoli along with rocket. Serve with fresh torn basil leaves and extra virgin olive oil.
