GF SPAGHETTI WITH 6MIN TOMATO SUGO
San Remo Gluten Free Spaghetti No 225
5 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves
1/4 cup basil leaves
400 g San Marzano tomatoes or whole tomatoes
1/2 cup pecorino,
Cook pasta as per packet directions.
In a pan on medium heat, add oil and garlic. Cook for 2 minutess until garlic is just colouring.
Next add tomatoes to the pan and crush with a wooden spoon.
Add a half a cup of pasta water to the pan.
Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly on a medium to high heat.
Add basil, stir through and turn off heat. Season sauce with salt & pepper.
Strain pasta and add to sauce. Add half the pecorino to sauce & stir.
Serve and sprinkle remaining pecorino over the top.
